RANU
RANU was born on May 13, 2024, after spiritual inspiration from Father Fernando, guided by his mentors Father Juvêncio de Aruanda and Exú Príncipe Lucifer. Initially the terreiro was established in Father Fernando's own house, where together with Mother Jaqueline and daughters Júlia and Vivian, they began the first preparations for the construction of the Terreiro.
Members
RANU was born with 9 members: Fernando, Jaqueline, Júlia, Vivian, Ana, Agnaldo, Mônica, Leandro and Bruno. The works began in early 2024, coordinated and executed by the son Agnaldo, who was responsible for giving life to what was just a dream. In parallel, the son Leandro, together with Father Fernando, developed all the rituals of the works, accompanied by an in-depth theoretical study on the history, philosophy and practice of Umbanda.
First Steps
After the physical construction, preparation of the rituals, acquisition of work tools, the Tronqueira and Congá Settlements were built.
Then there were preparatory giras for rehearsal and development, so that on May 13, 2024, the first official opening with consultants would be held, in honor of the Day of the Pretos Velhos.
After 7 months in operation, the house has 24 members, several regular consultants, and great support in social projects.
Future
RANU has been expanding its work very rapidly and will be carrying out further reforms soon.
In addition to renovations to better accommodate everyone, social projects have been growing, spiritual services are increasing, events are becoming more frequent and voluntary donations are always on the rise.
Our goal is to continue our expansion, expanding our services and social work.

Coordination
The House is led by a team of spiritual leaders committed not only to conducting religious work, but also to welcoming and spiritual development of each person who seeks help. Find out a little more about each of them:
• Pai Fernando: Founder and main leader, Pai Fernando has been working in Umbanda for over 5 years and is certified in the area. With a serene presence and a speech full of wisdom, he is known for his ability to listen and guide with patience. In addition to leading the tours, he is dedicated to teaching and preserving the foundations of tradition, always valuing love and respect.
• Mãe Jaqueline: Companion on the spiritual journey and in the life of Father Fernando, Mãe Jaqueline is the great feminine force of the House. With her welcoming energy and open heart, she plays an essential role in caring for the saint's children and visitors. She loves sharing her knowledge, as well as bringing joy and organization to work around the house.
• Pai Pequeno Bruno: Young in Umbanda, but with a deep spirituality, Pai Pequeno Bruno is Pai Fernando's right-hand man. He began his journey at Terreiro as an administrative assistant and began receiving more responsibilities and commitments. Known for his dedication and seriousness, he helps with receiving new children and jobs, and supports the administrative organization.
• Mãe Pequena Júlia: Owner of a sensitive spirituality and always sweet words, Mãe Pequena Júlia is an example of sensitivity and strength. In addition to helping Mãe Jaqueline in carrying out the work, she is passionate about passing on sacred teachings, about the Orixás, guides, etc. Her mission is to help each person find balance and faith, always with a lot of patience and dedication. Together, these leaders form a spiritual family that supports each other and works tirelessly to make the Terreiro a space of light, welcome and transformation. More than leaders, they are living examples of love and dedication to Umbanda.
In Umbanda, theoretical study is just as important as spiritual practice. It strengthens our understanding of the fundamentals, prevents misconceptions, and ensures a more conscious and responsible experience. Knowing the history, principles, and mysteries of the religion makes us better instruments for working with the guides and providing support to those seeking help. Faith grows with knowledge, and the light of wisdom dispels the shadows of doubt.
